Oar & Paddle - An Exhibit of Rowing and Canoeing on Lake of the Woods

Friday, September 1, 2017 - 17:00
LOW Museum (Kenora)

For generations, the Lake of the Woods and surrounding waterways have been used as highways, playgrounds and racetracks. OAR and PADDLE was inspired to honour both the Canada Summer Games Rowing competition at Rabbit Lake and the completion of the Path of the Paddle project.

This unique exhibit, presented as a rare double feature, will describe the history of rowing in Kenora as well as the history of canoeing on Lake of the Woods in separate galleries.

On NOW until September 1st at the Lake of the Woods Museum! For hours and admission costs, visit the Lake of the Woods Museum website: lakeofthewoodsmuseum.ca!
