The help wanted sign could soon be up at the Kenora Police Services Board.
The current term for provincial appointee Glenda McMillan ends in September and will have served her maximum tern.
Mayor Dave Canfield says he is concerned because the province has such a large backlog of
appointment to fill for various boards, that they may not have a candidate in place by the time McMillan's
tenure is complete.
He says he plans to talk to the Minister of Public Safety and Correctional Services over the next few months
to make sure they get the position filled sooner rather than later.
He says because they only have three board members, it's imperative they get a new provincial appointee in a timely manner,
