Some disaster funds may be rolling in for Dryden following the major flooding last August.

The City has been cleared to receive provincial Municipal Recovery Assistance Program funding.

Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard says they have been approved for almost 500 thousand dollars, will help in recovery efforts.

The funding still needs final government approval, but no problems are anticipated.

Thunder Bay also helped the community earlier with a 5-thousand dollar donation.
