The City of Kenora is creating more regulations about what you can and can't do in it's municipal parks.

City council has passed a by-law amendment outlining set fines for a long list of infractions.

For instance, there is now a 200 dollar fine for practicing golf or using archery equipment in a non-designated area.

There is also a 50 dollar fine for snowboarding, tobagganing or sledding in a prohibited area.

One of the larger fines is for feeding waterfowl or wildlife in a designated park area.

That comes with a fine of 300 dollars.

And just to make sure residents are picking up their doggy doo doo, there is now a 100 dollar fine for anyone who
fails to remove excrement from a domesticated animal.
