Police warn potentially lethal Halloween-stamped Fentanyl blotters could be in Winnipeg and the Dryden Police Service says that could easily mean they could end up in Northwestern Ontario communities.

The concern surrounds a potentially deadly drug that looks like a harmless piece of paper with a witch stamp on it.

Community Services Officer Denise Szachury is asking parents to go through your child's candy and stresses any suspicious candy should be handed over to Dryden Police for investigation.

Szachury says you should be looking for unwrapped candy or altered packaging.

She adds make sure the candy is coming from a reputable company or factory.
