A dire warning from a local dairy farmer.
Wilma Mol of Slate River Dairy, says that if the American's convince Canada to do away with the milk marketing system in our country where'll be problems
This week President Donald Trump stated he wasn't pleased with how we sell opur milk here and his administration plans to negotiate some changes.
Mol says if that means scrapping the supply management system, the farmers from Wisconsin will flood our region with milk.
She says if you think that means we'll get cheaper milk, guess again adding it's the grocery stores that set the price for milk to attract customers.
Mols believes a change like that mean the death of the dairy industry in Canada.
