Emergency Repairs Approved For The White Cap Pavillion

The White Cap Pavillion in Kenora is in need of some emergency repairs.

The big tent on the Kenora Harborfront has been losing bits and pieces recently.

The city's Parks and Facilities lead James Tkachyck says one of the plexiglass vent caps
popped out.

He says fortunately the clear plastic disc fell out at night and didn't hurt anyone on
the ground.

He says they plan to replace the grommets that hold the vents in place with
stainless steel ones, so they shouldn't rust out.

The city has allocated just over 21 thousand dollars for the repairs.
