The Ontario Provincial Police are reminding snowmobile riders to be safe and abide by the law!

Police say they have already received many complaints of damages on trails by both snow machines and vehicles.

Officers say they will still conduct patrols find people who are breaking the rules.

Some rules include having a drivers license, valid insurance and a valid OFSC trail permit.

A Registration number must also be affixed to the sled with a current validation sticker.

Trail conditions can be checked on the Ontario Federation Snowmobile Club website at http://www.ofsc.on.ca/
